The original S-type speedlite bracket (often designated as the S1/Standard model) is the trusted workhorse solution for adapting traditional rectangular hot-shoe flashes to full-sized Bowens mount light modifiers. Designed specifically for classic square-head speedlights, this non-universal model provides a snug, tailored grip for popular flash units like the Godox V860II, TT685, TT600, and AD200 speedlite heads.

(Note: Unlike the enlarged S2 universal variant, this original S-type body is built tightly for rectangular flash heads and will not accommodate round-head flashes like the Godox V1 or AD100Pro without removing the rubber spacer pad).

By securing the flash body directly through a non-scratch padded clamp system, the S-type bracket eliminates tension on your camera’s hot shoe mount and does away with inconvenient touch-fasteners. It mounts vertically or horizontally, allowing you to position your flash tube precisely within softboxes, snoots, and grids.
